It keeps the tri-counter racing dial and tachymeter bezel from the original but drops the case to a genuinely wearable 40mm, a size the current 41mm automatic PR516 doesn’t offer.

On the wrist it reads sportier than most Swiss chronographs at this price. The 316L stainless steel case and bracelet are brushed and polished, the blue dial carries Super-LumiNova on the hands and markers, and the bi-colour tachymeter bezel gives the whole watch its motorsport signal rather than just styling it in. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating sits over the dial, a step up from the mineral crystals still common in this segment.

Underneath is Tissot’s Swiss-made ETA G10.212 quartz chronograph movement, running a 30-minute counter, a 1/10-second counter and small seconds, plus a battery end-of-life indicator so a flat cell doesn’t catch you off guard. Water resistance is rated to 100m, plenty for daily wear and the odd splash, though this is a chronograph built for the street, not a dive watch.
