The GBD-300-9 takes the octagonal bezel design that made the GA-2100 a hit and applies it to a genuine training watch. Bluetooth links to your phone, using its GPS to calibrate distance measurements so the watch can then track running distance, pace and auto laps on its own.

At 48.9 x 47.4 x 14.9mm, it’s the slimmest G-SQUAD Casio has released, built with a front bezel and separate back bumper bezel to keep shock resistance high without adding bulk. The bright yellow case and band are made from bio-based resin, and the soft urethane band underside is designed for comfort through vigorous movement. A high-resolution MIP LCD display paired with Super Illuminator keeps things readable in any light, with auto-light activating on a simple wrist tilt.

Underneath, it’s built for daily training use: 200m water resistance, shock resistance, a battery that lasts around two years on a single CR2032, plus world time across 38 zones, interval timer, stopwatch and four daily alarms. Notifications for calls, emails and social media come through via Bluetooth too.
