The SRPJ49K1 is Seiko’s tribute to the Honda Super Cub — one of the most produced motorcycles in history, with over 100 million units built since 1958. It’s a genuine collaboration piece, limited to 6,000 pieces worldwide, each individually serialised on the caseback.

Every detail on the cream and green dial nods to the Super Cub’s front-on silhouette: the 12 o’clock marker is shaped like the headlight, the 1 and 11 o’clock indices echo the front indicators, and a fuel gauge motif appears on the crown, with a 30km/h speed-limit sign worked into the bezel. The 42.5mm stainless steel case follows the familiar SKX-inspired Seiko 5 Sports shape, finished with a nylon strap carrying the Honda and Super Cub logos, and a see-through caseback engraved with the Super Cub emblem and its unique serial number.

Powering it is Seiko’s in-house 4R36 automatic caliber — hacking, hand-winding capable, 24 jewels, and around 41 hours of power reserve. Water resistance is rated to 100m, and Hardlex crystal protects the dial.
