The SSK017K1 takes the familiar SKX-shaped Seiko 5 Sports case and adds a genuine GMT complication — a rarity at this price point — wrapped in a dial colour you won’t mistake for anyone else’s watch.

The 42.5mm stainless steel case carries a bi-colour black-and-grey 24-hour bezel around the vivid yellow satin dial, with LumiBrite-treated hands and markers and a magnified date window at 3 o’clock for easy reading. A red-accented GMT hand tracks the second time zone against the bezel’s 24-hour scale, and a see-through screw-in caseback shows off the movement.

Powering it is Seiko’s in-house 4R34 — a reworked version of the familiar 4R36 with the day display swapped out for genuine GMT function, hacking, hand-winding capable, 24 jewels, and around 41 hours of power reserve. Water resistance is rated to 100m, suitable for swimming and daily wear.
