The bracelet’s centre links are given a mirror polish against brushed outer links, which lifts the whole watch from purely sporty into something you can wear out.

Inside is Seiko’s 2R06 automatic — the compact equivalent of the well-known 4R36, sharing its specifications in a smaller package. It winds itself through wrist motion, accepts manual winding when it’s been sitting, and includes a hacking seconds function for precise time-setting. A full wind gives roughly 40 hours of power reserve, with rated accuracy of +45 to -35 seconds per day.
